Transformative AI Training

AI literacy and applied skills, delivered cohort-style.

Working professionals across sectors. No coding required.

TODO before launch: confirm scope, audience, registration page, and tagline with the FFPF programs lead. This entry was scaffolded from the FFPF brand-architecture banner — content needs editorial review.

What it is

Transformative AI Training is one of Foundation for a Path Forward’s applied programs. It’s designed for working professionals who want to develop a confident, hands-on understanding of how to use AI tools well in their day-to-day — without being told they need to become engineers.

The program covers:

  • Practical, sector-relevant AI workflows
  • Tools-on-the-table sessions (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot, automation platforms)
  • Ethics and disclosure: when to use AI, when to disclose its use, when not to use it
  • Risk literacy: hallucinations, IP, privacy, bias
  • Workflow design: where AI helps, where it adds friction, when to keep humans in the loop

Who it’s for

Working professionals across sectors. No coding required. The program is built for people whose work involves words, decisions, or people — and who want a structured way to build AI literacy that holds up at work.

How it relates to PRIME

PRIME is FFPF’s program for refugees and forcibly displaced people in Canada — a 1-month AI training plus 12 months of paid career support. Transformative AI Training shares some of the same instructional foundation but is scoped differently: it’s open to a broader audience, and it’s training-only, not a placement program.

What we’ll cover here

The Careers in the Age of AI podcast and articles will pull from this program where it’s useful — interviews with instructors, case studies from past cohorts, plain-language summaries of the curriculum. Subscribe to the podcast or the newsletter to hear when those land.
